Post op 9 weeks and bleeding

It's been almost 13 weeks since my vaginal hysterectomy, and I just started to bleed. Has anyone else had this? I called the local ER and they don't seem concerned, and told me to make an appt with my doctor tomorrow. I am FREAKING out right now. Hoping someone else has bled this far into recovery.

Re: Post op 9 weeks and bleeding

Hi, I am 9 weeks post op from Davinci hyster and have been having brown spots on day pad for a couple of days and this evening after a bm had pink on tp when wiping vaginal area. Will be calling doc tomorrow for sure. Suspected I should have called today but didn't. I had cervix removed also and it's probably a vaginal cuff issue. Prayers and Hugs

Re: Post op 9 weeks and bleeding

Dr hasn't called me back but I haven't had any more pink either. Maybe I over did it in the garden bending over! Feel some pressure on the lower right side which if it continues I will call my primary care physician monday. Guess when my surgeon turned me loose at 4 weeks post op he really meant it! He's an hour away so maybe my regular doc will be more interested in helping me. Hope you get your issue resolved too. Hugs

Re: Post op 9 weeks and bleeding

You should call your Dr on call for the evening.....take note of how many pads you are soaking and the color/consistency. Someone should be able to call you back. If you are bleeding a lot you need to be seen......
Hugs!
