Raymo is home from the castle

Hi ladies,
well I just made it home from the castle.had surgery wednesday morning. the waiting is definitely hard but so far, recocery has been a bit rough too. I had a SAH, dr was able to leave both ovaries and cervix. Had a TVT bladder repair and rectocele repair. The dr was shocked to see all the endo he found, we had only suspected endo. He said we may have to remove the ovaries eventually but right now feels that getting rid of the enlarged tilted uterus will help my pain.

No bleeding since surgery! YAY! good luck to everyone heading to the castle. Hugs Raymo

Things I did not use at castle

boy did I bring too much stuff! I made a huge list and did not use even half of the stuff. Things I did use:
gas X, head scrunchie/barrette thingy, glasses, lotion, sandals/slippers. things I did NOT use or need:jammies--wore their gowns and my robe, makeup (only put some on today to go home) books *too sleepy to read, videos/dvd's, same thing--too much to concentrate on these, would rather zone on the tv,

Would not recommend having anyone spend the night, I actually did not like having visitors since it required me to talk, etc. I just had energy to lay there and walk when I had to.

Anyway, good luck to all at the castle. I am starting to feel better already. Hugs raymo

Raymo! I am so glad you are home and recovering! I am hoping the Dr.'s office calls today to schedule my surgery!

Did your Dr. say why he left your cervix??
