Don't Touch!! Skin's so sensitive

I am five days post-op (LSH) and have been experiencing bouts of all over body skin sensitivity throughout the day. My loose cotton clothing is irritating. Applying body lotion seems to help but it's only temporary. My DH must be tired of hearing me moan and b... about it. I've been meditating myself out of the mood and feelings. Is this going to stop?

Re: Don't Touch!! Skin's so sensitive

Hi (((galgail)))

I have not personally experienced this, but it seems to be a fairly common complaint. Hopefully others will be along to share their remedies, or you could try a search of the site. Perhaps some of the older threads can offer you some insight. Hope this eases up soon!

Re: Don't Touch!! Skin's so sensitive

I have heard that a lot of the medications (especially the narcotic pain medications) can cause the itching feeling. Also it takes a few days for the medication they used to put you to sleep to get out of your body. I hope you find out what is going on soon.
