Re: Worried and overthinking
I love the idea of a list.. And it will work great for before my trip to the castle . I will definitely look into seeing if some of my church members wil be willing to help. I guess one of my biggest concern for after is that I'm very ocd, and I have a household of 6 with me being the only adult, and the tiniest of messes drive me insane. As for my worrying I have an anxiety disorder so I easily panic. Honestly I'm thrilled that afterwards I will no longer have to suffer with the pain and the long heavy periods, and I gave had other surgeries, but for some reason this one really scares me.

Re: Worried and overthinking
I take it the others are your children? How old are the oldest ones?
I'm the oldest child of a set of five, and Mom taught me how to change diapers and warm a bottle of formula when I was eight so that I could help her with the younger ones! She taught all of us how to cook simple meals and handle the basics of housekeeping when we were quite young.
The kids may not always do things as well as you would do them yourself, but they *can* get an awful lot done.
I'm single-with-cats myself and am going to be recovering mainly on my own, although I have friends and neighbours I can call on if I really need help for something specific. I'm definitely *not* OCD when it comes to housekeeping, however. LOL

Re: Worried and overthinking
Yes the others are children, with 3 of them ages 12-15. And I know they can get alot done, but getting them to do it comes with a slew of problems in its self. That being said I know the major things i.e. cooking, laundry, and help with the little ones will be ok, i guess im just worried as I dont want to be too stressed afterwards while trying to heal.
