Almost 3 months post hysterectomy: BM and vaginal pain / stitch

I still hurt when I have bowel movements but it hurts in my vagina and I still have a stitch that my boyfriend can feel during sex. Is this normal?

Re: Almost 3 months post op still hurt

, sister, and prefacing everything with.... it's always best to check in with your doc, what I can share is this:

What's normal for one woman may not be normal for you. Also, even @ 3 months out, that's really not so long in the grand scheme of things. At 8 months out, I still feel healing.

Depending on the complexity of the surgery, some women, I know, experience residual pain from the manipulation of the bowel or they might have had adhesions.

See your doc! I wound up having 2 extra appts. with mine, even after she said I was done. Made me feel better and that's what she's there for!
