Starting Pre Op Instructions Tomorrow!!!

I am having the DaVinci surgery on Friday October 28th!
I am soooooo excited to get it over and done with! I have a 5.5 cm cyst on my left {and only} ovary and a 9-10 cm fibroid on the outside of my uterus. Everything is officially CRAMPED in there!

Tomorrow I begin my journey to the castle. It starts by having 2 {yes 2} days of Clear Liquid diet....OMG!!!! I so don't do well when I don't eat! As my Mom says....I get surly......to put it mildly!

At the same time as I am putting all of this clear liquid in my body {ugh} I get to do 2 {yes, there is that magical number yet again} days of BOWEL PREP UGH!!!

I know in the end it will be the best thing for me. I am 41 years old and decided at an early age that I was ok not having children {I have 2 wonderful step sons}.

My poor ovary has worked overtime for the last 40 years and it has decided it is pretty much done! LOL! I am ready for it all to come out and stop having PMDD and all that goes with it....along with PMS and all the bloating and cramps and having my periods every 21-35 days if at all....and....and.....well the list goes on!

Soon enough, you will be able to hear the party up here in the Great Northwest!!!

uggg....i'm sorry you have to do the two-day prep...i had to do the same type of prep for my colonoscopy two years ago....day 1 of just liquid isn't horrible....day 2 i got...cranky...like you said though, the end result helps get through the prep! good luck!

Best of luck to you with both days of prep & the surgery. As u can tell I'm wide awake due to the one day of prep I had to do, but I know I will no longer suffer. I'm going in in a few hours!!
