Tvh today and MUCH better than expected

Surgery at 1pm today tvh plus the one ovary dr could get to. Had fibroid tumor and lots of bleeding was the reason for hyster. Age 50 and menopause though bleeding never ended for me (until now!) so decided to take ovaries if he could. One was hiding so I guess she wanted to stay which is fine as I was worried what to do bout them. Pain has been non existant just ibuprofen. Ate a real dinner by 6pm. Turkey for my thanksgiving party:0). Catheter should come out tomorrow so hope that goes as well. I have filled it up twice already! Feeling really amazing and so blessed! I think my biggest problem will be taking it easy! This site has been a Hugh support and so helpful in prep. Looking forward to recovery with all my new hyster sisters ! Love to you all!
