Painful 12 weeks after total hysterectomy & BSO

Sex has been painful after my TAH. It doesn't hurt in my vagina but the opening,. Anyone have that problem?

I'm 6 days post-op so I admit I'm not feeling very sexy at the moment and the thought of being intimate again is so far from my mind. Having said that I have experienced (pre-hysterectomy) some outer vaginal soreness for a couple of days after sex. With the lead up to my surgery I wasn't very frisky and we had some long stretches of no intercourse. It was great when we had it, but the following days I did note a raw, chaffed feeling. It could be caused by vaginal dryness, or even a bit of atrophy from no recent use. I would think a little swelling is possible as well.
