recliner for LVH?

Just a bit of confusion, I have my pre op Monday and after reading a number of posts I am wondering if the Lazy Boy type lounge chair is advised as well for LVH (Vaginal ) recovery or if only the abdominal incision necessitates that? Thanks

recliner for LVH?

Hi, I think that it's a personal choice. I had a tah/bso and had some trouble getting up from my recliner ( it hurt ), so I slept in my bed. I did stay in the recliner a lot during the day when I could have someone help me if I needed it. Without the abdominal incision, it might have been easier

So, do what works best for you.

Best wishes.

recliner for LVH?

I find that sleeping in the bed is comfortable at night. I use extra pillows under my knees or between my legs or behind my back. During the day I alternate between bed, recliner and couch. I find that my back aches from too much time in one position.
