Nurse called about pre op lab work

Hi,
New here. Scheduled LAVH Oct.15 for recurring polyps and possible returned endometriosis.
I had my pre op lab work done 10/8 at the hospital. Nurse called 10/9 @ 5:50 p and left message for me to call Mon. about lab. Knowing the Dr. doesn't call to let you know your CBC is normal. I am concerned and worried that surgery may be postponed.
I have been suspecting anemia for over a week now. This last period has gotten to me. I have been more fatigued than normal. What is procedure for anemia? Do they proceed as scheduled?
Thanks

Re: Nurse called about pre op lab work

I would try not to worry too much; the call could be that they forgot to ask something. That happened to me. I'd answered all the questions ( more than once sometimes ) but each person seems to need to ask personally sometimes.
If it is anemia, I think the outcome might depend on how severe it is. I was slightly anemic and surgery proceeded as scheduled. More severe might need some treatment first.

I'm sending good wishes that the call is not bad news.
