TVH can bladder prolapse improve over time?

The doctor did not repair my prolasped bladder, he didn't tell me or I would have asked him some questions, I found out from the nurses, who told me the doctor said my ligaments seemed strong enough that he didn't need to so the repairs.

If I look with a mirror, I can still see my bladder, although I have not had any incontinence since the surgery.

But now I am wondering if it will move back into place over time as I heal?

I am going to be really angry if this is as good as it gets.

What I would do is ask your surgeon's office for the operative report. My office e-mailed me mine. The most important thing is "How do you feel?" I am very bad to examine myself with a mirror too much. Things look really funky after surgery, remember. There are many women who are not pleased with how they look after surgery. Give it time, it's great you are not having any incontinence issues. Things will go back in place, I will be three weeks posterior repair on 4/4 and things are just now starting to look like normal. Take care, rest up, and no lifting!!

I had extensive prolapse repair with my hysterectomy, and even then the doctor told me to continue doing Kegels. There are also DVD's you can purchase that target Pelvic Floor muscles that can reverse the prolapse if it is not severe.
