Good luck with your surgery. I know the waiting can cause more anxiety. Keep reading info on this website. I learned so much about my surgery from talking to other women on the Hysterectomy Discussions website. They all had great information to give, and also answered questions when I needed it. Being able to communicate like this with others in the same position make you more informed, and therefore, less scared.

My surgery was Thursday June 17th and I'm already feel great. There isn't much pain, although my belly is still bruised and swollen. Mine was done thru a laproscope which I chose since it was a quicker recovery. I'm out of work right now and need to find a temporary job until school starts again (I'm a reading tutor to first graders, a job I totally love). I have enough money to keep me going for about 6 weeks but I want to get a temporary accounting job as soon as I'm on my feet. The way I'm going, I think I'll be ready in 2 weeks. Receiving positive support really helps and we are all here for you if you need us.
