LSH Yet another concern!!! (child mentioned)

Okay, had surgery on 12/1. My blood count the next day was 8.1. Stopped taking my iron per my Dr. since I am having some trouble with BMs. So today my son comes home sick which I think is Strep Throat. He has a fever over a 100, sore throat and very lethargic. Should I be concerned over my health since just having surgery? Does this impose any risks to me since Strep can be dangerous??
Also have a pain over my left breast when I breathe in, what the heck is that all about?? Freaking out over here!!

You should call your Dr. if you are still having problems with breathing. I don't mean to scare you but, it could be a blood clot. Hope everything goes ok!

Thanks. I will call tomorrow if I am still having this issue. Do you think it could be a gas pocket??

I do think it is likely a gas pocket, but I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side! Best wishes to you!
