Ladies what's swelly belly??

What is swelly belly do u get this after laparoscopic surgery??

I had a LAVH (laproscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy). I for sure have swelly belly (swollen belly) which is normal after surgery do to many factors. I, for now, am wearing clothing that does not bind or put pressure on my stomach.

Swelly belly is when your belly is swollen and bloated following surgery. It is part of healing. Most women get it and it can come and go for about a year.

Most women use it as a gauge for when it's time to rest.

Your belly starts off fairly flat when you wake up,but as the day wears on, it starts to swell. It could be from the muscles healing or gas pains combined. The more you do the more it swells and then it's time to rest.
