6 day count down

Hi All.

I'm 6 days away from being a "punctured princess". I can hardly wait until I'm on the other side. I've already packed my bag for the hospital. Is that weird?

I finished my last period 2 days ago, I'm not going to miss that!!!!!!!!

I really an nervous, but being able to read your letters, somehow, it helps. I guess knowing that so many others are going through the same experience, and others have gone through worse, makes this a little easier.

I know exactly how you feel. I was that way all last week before my surgery. I am now 1 week post-op and feeling alittle better. Just knowing that I no longer have to go through horrible pain ever month is a blessing. This site and all the wonderful people here helped me to not be so nervous. There was a certain calmness when that day came. I was still a little scared but was glad that surgery day was here and to start the healing process. Good luck with your wait---i"m 10 days from surgery date. Feeling really blue---said tootle to coworkers until about mid Oct. as next week , hope to get things organized. Surgery is the 4th--and the day both my college girls begin classes. My DH will have to provide me with lots of TLC. For last 4 days, about once a day---I jujst feel like crying, hate this waiting.
have you tried the chat room---tried it several times--maybe we can talk there. The ladies who are post-op have nice suggestions and offer oodles of support.

We are twins. I also go in to be punctured on the 30th. The wait is killing me. I have the kids ready for school and also have my house in order. I have not packed yet. I will do that Wed. night. My thoughts and prayer will be with you and all of the other sisters.

aug 30th for me to!!!...Isn't the wait horrible???? It's killing me..did all the getting ready stuff... Can't pack yet booyfriend took the bag when he went for Virgina and won't be back till tues....

was so nice of him to leave this week...must have known I'd be fruity by now and planned it that way....lol..
