Scared to death

I walked to the theatre and then almost ran away and before then has I spent most of the time in tears. I was scared, but it's over now and even just three weeks later I know it was the right thing do.
I have felt much better than I expected and all of the worry of the surgey has gone, without exception everyone says I look better now. It has to be your decison and I know how painful and traumatic that is, but I know all of us offer you our love and support.
Take care,
Sue

Scared to death

Hey, I've been reading some of the stories and let me tell you, your not alone. I go in for my big day July 19. and I'm so scared. I have a fibroid tumor inside my uterus and it needs to be removed. I'm also having gallbladder surgery all on the same day. I keep thinking should I call and cancell . The gallbladder surgery doen't bother me it's the other. I have read to many stories. (which they all have been helpful) But I keep telling myself I'll feel much better after this is over with. I've had a c-section and someone told me it was kind of like that. Is this true? can anybody relate?
Thanks,
Blueberries

Scared to death

From what I've read in all the posts, it's something like a c-section, but different because you have more internal stitches and more limitations and you need more rest. I'd read alot more of the postings so you're better informed before you go. I understand that you're scared, this was my first surgery since I had my 4 kids natural, but i'm really glad I had it done, the pain that came with my periods was unbearable, and as soon as i'm recovered from this surgery, I know i'll feel better.

Hugz and prayers while you make your decision, and hopes for a speedy recovery!!!

Bernadette
