dVH/RALH Spotting and abdominal pain 4 weeks after hysterectomy

I am worried today. I end up working 9 hrs today. Mostly sitting with a lunch and two small breaks. My bottom is sore, I am bleeding/spotting and my abdomen hurts. Is this normal or did I over do it with out realizing it. Worried thus evening

I had a bit of spotting about 3 weeks out after my surgery, not enough for a pad really, just a bit of spotting. I had random tummy soreness too for up to 6 weeks after. My doc said it was just muscles healing, so much stuff is moved around in there during surgery, and the spotting was normal as long as you're not filling a pad in an hour. I took the spotting and soreness as my body's was of saying I was doing too much, and took it easy that day, which I know if hard when you work. When you get back from work, go straight to bed and rest. Even if you are just sitting at work, you use muscles you dont even realize. And always, when it doubt, give your doctor a call They will help put your mind at ease. Heal well and rest as much as you can, hystersister!
