painful sex

This may seem graphic but I need to know if anyone else out there has had this: During sex my husband says it feels like he's hitting something,and it hurts both of us. He says it feels like he's getting snagged on a rubberband or something,and that it don't feel "right".I'm having my TAH/BSO June 6,and my preop on june 4.Should I wait till then to ask Dr. about it or give him a call now?

If it makes you feel any better, I tend to have pain during sex as well. I have a large fibroid and the pressure can be quite uncomfortable.

Definitely call your doc. It may be something that he needs to know about. If not, at least it should help to give you some peace of mind.

Also, try a different position. Spooning tends to be easier on me because there is no direct pressure on the belly and you can control the angle and depth yourself.
