vagina sore when sitting

hi,
i am approximately 4 1/2 months post-op vaginal hysterectomy, and i have noticed in the past 2 months, my vagina gets sore if i sit too long. i've been to my gynecologist that performed the surgery, and we've been chasing symptoms for months now. (it was hard for me to pinpoint). after treatment for a bladder infection, yeast infection, and removal of granular tissue a few weeks ago, i STILL feel that soreness if i sit too long. is this normal? do i need to see some kind of specialist?
i'm SO frustrated, and i just want to get back to my active life of yoga/hiking/skiing/biking, etc.
is this a normal part of healing?

I'm feeling your pain...literally. I'm only 3 weeks post op but I'm so sore in my vagina and buttocks. Its like I've been sitting for hours on end but only for a little bit.
I'm keen to see how you get on.

thanks natty. it has helped to see alot of other women in this forum have the same issues, but it's worrisome because it's 4 1/2 months out. i don't know whether to wait it out and see if it gets better or go to some kind of specialist (I don't even know what kind...urologist?) and get some testing done. it comes and goes. it'll be fine for several days, then kick up for a couple days, that kind of thing. just wondering if anyone else has had the same thing this far along in their recovery?
