I'm a few days out from hysterectomy and endo excision surgery and so far, this has been a lot LESS painful than my gallbladder removal. But I was very sick going into that surgery, so the difference may not be directly relatable.

I ended up having some complications after my gallbladder removal. I had a knot form right below the belly button incision that had to be drained a few times, and my whole stomach was black and blue. They kept saying everything went great so they weren't sure why it bruised so bad. Honestly at this point I'm so ready to have it out I don't even care.
