Muscle Tear post LSH two weeks ago

Yesterday I was getting ready to go out and put on a pair of jeans. I suddenly felt a sharp pain and immediately took the jeans off. Three hours later the pain was so sharp when I moved that I could barely stand up. I went to the ER and they scanned me and saw no bleeding or other apparent issues. The doctor gave me pain medication and was very supportive. He said that they have to cut through the abdominal fascia to do the LSH and that he thought I had torn it. The pain is still very severe. Even on percocet every four hours it is very sharp when I stand or walk.
Has anyone experienced this? I am scared and worried.

Sorry you're in so much pain. I haven't had the same problem as you so I can't help specifically. Are you taking an anti-inflammatory also? Try some ice for another day or so to reduce inflammation and pain. Limit your activity also. I guess it's back to sweats for a bit. Hope you feel much better really soon.

I don't think I tore anything, but several times it felt like I was about to.

BTW, the fascia is not the same as muscle. Fascia has to be cut through, but muscle doesn't. I know my muscle was not cut, but I don't know if that's true for everyone.
