2.5 weeks post hysterectomy: bad burning feeling in vagina

I am 2 and a half weeks post op from LAVH. My problem I am have is this burning feeling in my vagina and it aches so bad . The pain is so bad I want to cry . I have no blood no discharge . I also feel like I have to urinate. Could the pain be comeing from my vaginal cuff. Please I cant take this feeling I am having anymore. My OBgyn is on vaction .

Could be cuff, could be urinary tract infection. When my cuff burned and ached, even still sometime, an ice pack between my legs helper, but be very careful to protect the sensitive tissue there and dont use it more than about 15 min at a time. Mine was cuff, but if its a uti you need treatment fast to provide relief. Call dr who is on call.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I would suggest that you call your dr office and hopefully there's a message that gives a number for the dr on call. Call!

if there's nothing there for you, go to an urgent care. If no urgent care, go to er. no time to
take chances dear.

urgent care; ER; primary care -- call someone -- don't suffer. burning pain is not normal.

Could be raging yeast infection too. Whatever you need to find out today.
