Re: sex

So sorry you're having trouble.
From what I've read, there could still be a stitch inside that he feels. It might be best at the beginning if he doesn't go deep. How much are you bleeding? A little bleeding isn't abnormal, but if it's a lot you may want to check with your doctor.

Thanks, I hope that's what it is but I'm going to make sure. The hubby don't like that at all. Due to ALL the rumors he has heard he think this is the beginning of our sex life going bad. The hopes there's a fix to the problem.

Re: Two months post hysterectomy: partner feeling something during intimacy; also bleeding concerns

My husband got "poked" by something too. It was just the stitch, and no worries by the next time he wasnt stabbed. They can dissolve very slowly. He said last time he hardly noticed the cuff. My sutures are still not completely gone. And sex drive and pleasure, for both of us, are still fully intact. Tell your partner to be a little patient, and stop stressing you out with "old age wisdom". We saw little bits of blood, the dr said it was likely old blood around the sutures that came loose with all the activity, and that has pretty much stopped too.
