Depressed and Confused

I have endo. They didn't stage it but said it was severe with severe and extensive adhesions and scarring. Pretty much EVERYTHING is stuck together and to the walls (not a pretty sight). Anyway I had pretty much decided to call and have them schedule a TAH/BSO for the 1st or 2nd week in June. Now the problem is that DH just switched jobs this week. Good news is the insurance is better, bad news is he doesn't feel like he should try to take anytime off that quick. All I want to do is cry

Oh what a bummer. Hopefully you can schedule your date on a Wednesday, that way he can work Thursday and Friday and take you home Friday after work and take care of you over the weekend. Hopefully by Monday you can have someone else help. Is there anyone close? Don't take it too personally that he is afraid of taking time off. Your DH is in a tough spot right now, it's hard being the new guy and I'm sure he would be there for you as much as he can.

Hi, I'm sorry that you're on "hold" for right now. Have you asked your dr what you can do to be as comfortable as possible while you're waiting?

Do you have anyone else to be with you and help a bit so that your DH doesn't have to miss a lot of work?

I'm happy that the new insurance will be better for you. I hope that all works out well for you.
