Having TVH on July 1st

I am 27 and having a TVH on July 1st. I am glad to be having it done
My doctor and I have tried all that we could and this is the last option. I have 3 kids and had a tubal done in 2011. The women in my family tend to have hysterectomies by the time they are 30. My mom, aunts, grandmother.
Doctor said I will only be in the hospital for 24 hours which I am happy for. I want to go back to work as soon as I feel up to it. I can sit, walk at my job as much as I need and rest as I need.

I'm having one done on the 3rd, same procedure. We can be hyster buddies!!!

I know you want to go back to work ASAP, but keep in mind that you will be very tired after this surgery. Work also takes more energy than you realize - energy that you may not have. You only get one chance to heal right, and it does not do you any good to just rush back to work.

Just give yourself enough time off work - consider easing back into work part time at first. You might want to review the check points videos on the post-op page.
