TAH recovery 10 days post hysterectomy

Hello my strong sisters :-) I'm 10 days into my recovery. On june 3 2014 I had a TAH. The day of surgery I was so afraid.I knew it was something that had to be done.so my strength was god.I said my prayers and told the nurse let's do it :-) I stayed three nights in the hospital where the nursers are awesome. Im home still a lot of sorness and pain.I take my pain meds.I rest, I eat light and healthy.I started to walk a little more today. I don't ferl as bad as I thought I would.I think as long as you follow recovery procedure you will heal well and start to feel somewhat normal in two weeks.praying for us all. Hugs :-)

I miss being with my kids . Am divorced so they stay with their dad while I'm recovering. We will hug our kids and grand kids a little tighter--as soon as it doesn't hurt!!! Jennifer's
