TAH 8 days post hysterectomy - vaginal cuff stiches

I had a TAH on 1 March and things are going well. I have read about the vaginal cuff and wonder if my stiches are on the inside of me or the vaginal side of me. Does that make sense?
I have only had a small brown bleed the day after surgery and nothing since. I just wanted to know if I'm to expect something more if the stiches are on the vaginal side as they dissolve.

Hi. I also had a TAH and my doctor advised I was stitched from inside my abdomen. She said she did not do anything in the vagina. I am now over 12 weeks post op and no stitches have come out. I assume they have just dissolved in my insides
