Nervous about going back to work

Hi Ladies!

Well it will be back to work for me next week, and I feel as if it's the first day of school for me. I feel great other than the hot flashes I can't seem to get rid of and the night sweats. I am sort of looking forward to getting back into my routine of work again. However as I've mentioned in some other postings I really never told anyone why I took this time off. I work with some very jealous and gossipy women and I didn't want my personal business being spread all over the company. Not one co-worker has called me at home to see if I'm ok even the ones I considered friends. It's funny how major surgery can really open your mind and the true colors of people will really show. How do I respond to these women when they ask why I was out so long. They know the ireason was medical related but honestly I wish I could just say "It's really none of your business" why should I give them the satisfaction of knowing when they never even took the time to at least call me. I even ran into a bunch of co-workers at a restaurant and again they did not say anything, they acted as If I wasn't there, although they went back to work and told my boss they saw me because my boss called me at home and asked me about it! I envisioned these women running back to work like little kindergarten kids tatlle tallying on me. LOL.

Any thoughts on what I can tell these so called "friends"

Sarcastic is my middle name!! Change the subject by asking them the shade number of their hair dye. Or tell them you notice they've gone out and bought bigger clothes.

I wish I was sarcastic, my problem is I can be too nice unless I'm provoked then it's different. Love the bigger clothes comment LOL! Especially since I've actually lost weight and if I don't say so myself look and feel pretty darn good!

Do you think you could teach us how to be sarcastic??

I need a good ole' fashioned dose of that, please mam!
