Re: Best Wishes to our February 04 Princesses

Good luck, fellow Feb 4th ladies!

I'm so glad to have found this site. Just finished my pre-op appt this morning, and I feel very well prepared thanks to reviewing this site. Off to get my prescriptions filled, but wanted to say hello to everyone, and that I hope we all have a quick and uneventful recovery!

Good luck ladies! ! I will keep you all in my prayers. My surgery is tomorrow 2/3 so I'm about to start my bowel prep. I already started my liquid diet I'm a little scared but I can't wait for all of this is a thing of the past! May God watch over all of us from beginning throughout our recovery process.

Big hugs!!!

Hi Kerry!
I'm a nervous wreck but excited about not having a period anymore yes, the bowel prep was actually ok but it seemed to really kick in later in the evening and I started at noon! Trying not to think about food since I have been on a liquid diet since I woke up tdy. I doubt if I really get rest tonight along with the anxiety. Thanks alot! It helps knowing I'm not alone. Good luck and speedy recovery as well!

Hugs!!!

Re: Best Wishes to our February 04 Princesses

I have so many emotions but I'm ready for surgery and ready to feel healthy. I am curious about what bowel prep is because my Dr didn't mention that to me. My surgery is Feb 4th.

I totally understand how you feel. Feeling the same way. I can't go to sleep and I have to be at the hospital by 6 am. For my bowel prep I had to drink 1/2 bottle of citrate@ 12, the other half at 1, & use a fleet enema by 2pm. Basically cleaning your system out! I think I'm almost safe to lay down without jumping up to run to the bathroom! Not as bad as I imagined it to be. Good luck with everything and may you be blessed with a speedy recovery!
