Catheter??

So is the secret to not getting the infection to have the catheter removed as soon as possible? I am actually having anxiety about this and really don't want another infection.

Thats my guess. I go in 2 hours before surgery and going to have a talk with the nurse. I really prefer not to have this and use the bathroom on my own. Also with the meds!! I know I will be in pain but rather be on something that will not make me sleepy and knocked out.
