Sex, sex, sex.... all I think about...

DVH- 2 weeks out... Kept overies, removed cervix....
Please tell me it is normal to think and want sex so badly....
Before surgery I hurt so bad that I did not even want to think about sex. Now I am wanting it all the time.
I know we have to wait and we are fine with that but each day feels like torture....
My hubby would never take a chance on hurting me so he wont even play around... not sure if that is even aloud yet...

well anyways.... just wanted to know if it is normal or am I fastly becoming a sex feind?

It's normal for some of us! I don't know what knobs they twiddled in there when they did my surgery, but I had the same thing happen. And look at my surgery date ... still haven't found the 'off' button.

Husband is confuzzled by this development ... but pleased, I think.

I am 49 ... and feel like the sex drive was turned back to 18, lol. Or up to 11, depending on how you want to think about it.

It'll be up to your doctor to tell you when you can go back to normal, um, activities, because we're all different. For many/most of us it seems like 6 weeks is the usual amount of time, provided things heal normally. I took a bit longer than that.

Sex, sex, sex.... all I think about...

Oh! Gosh! 6 days in 6 weeks seems like a life time! Im 23 but my husband is 22 and at that age he is like nothing but testosterone!!! Im not sure how to keep him fulfilled! I guess if my mother would have been in the picture during my life id have her to confide in. Im afraid he might get bored with no activities! Any advice???

Re: Sex, sex, sex.... all I think about...

I didn't think about sex when I was wake during recovering; however, I had a sexual dreaming every night in the first week of the surgery. In the my dreaming, I either got rape by someone, or had sex with a strange person, and I felt like I turned back teenage, dream...dream about sex lol...but no orgasm, more scared. I didn't tell my dream to anyone becuase I felt embarrass....lol....
I am 39, I don't want to think about sex before my doctor say ok becuase I do not want to any extra pain... Well, if my body wants it, let it occurs in the dream lol...I am joking. So happy to share with everyone.

Re: Sex, sex, sex.... all I think about...

Oh, boy, for the first six weeks it was on my mind a LOT. I don't have any advice on how to cope other than to avoid anything that might make the "urges" worse.
