scar creams?

Has anyone tried Mederma on their incision/scar (after the staples and/or steri-strips come off and get the doctor's ok) ? Maybe someone has another suggestion ?

scar creams?

I've been using Vitamin E oil on my scar. I dont know if it's helping but when the doctor checked me out Thurs. he was amazed at how good my scar looked. I told him what I was putting on it and he said that was fine and to keep it up and probably in about a year it will just be a thin white line.

scar creams?

I had a 1" cut near my eye last year. I talked to the pharmacist about scar creams. She said she wouldn't take my money as they aren't worth it. She said to moisturise and let nature take it's course. You can't see it now. I'm going to let my tummy scars fade in time the same way.

For me I am supposed to massage my incision every day for awhile. When I massage it I use Cocoa butter. My scar looks and feels better. Take care.

Ooohhh good suggestions! Someone told me about Vitamin E oil too and the cocoa butter sounds great too. I agree - nature has to take its course, I just want to help her along a bit
