Almost 4 months and wondering(baby mentioned)

Hello all. As for me, well I have been doing really good. i had my son and a hyst arter he was born. That was hard. But the first few weeks I took it easy and felt ok. But in the last 2 weeks I have noticed some pain or aching in my stomach area. My son is almost 4 months as well and weighs almost doubel his birth weight. (14 1/2 lbs now, 8 lbs at birth.) Maybe it is from picking him up and other things that are too heacy to be handling. i have my ovaries and my cervix and sex if perfect. Although I still have to get over the no more kids thing. I am going to call my obgyn and mention the pain. It comes in spurts and usually when I get up from my bed. I think it is too low, so getting up with my son might be triggering it. And I was just about to start working out again at the gym. any suggestions? i am open to anything.

Almost 4 months and wondering(baby mentioned)

Hi, I have a baby that was 5 months old when I had my surgery. Picking her up has definitely effected how my tummy feels. I'm 6 months out now and my swollen stomach never goes down. And I notice that I still have a twinge of pain when I have to hop out of bed at night to check on her. I think having to always lift her up and even when I play with her I sit her on my tummy, it just takes longer to heal with those kinds of activities.

I don't have many suggestions except to rest when you can and maybe try low impact exercises. Go slow at first. I've been thinking of trying aqua-aerobics hoping it would be less stress on my body.

Good luck!
