Valarien Root...might have found something here!

My Dr recommended Valerian root for insomnia. I found something called Sleep RX which is a valerian root blend. I went to bed with DH at 930 last night as a test. (I have been awake till 2 or 4 am every other night) Guess what...I fell right to sleep. I woke up a couple of times to pee and went right back to sleep. I woke up at 340am and was awake for about 30 min and went back to sleep until 930 am!

Dr warned me about vivid dreams (there was that...wierd but not too bad) and it makes you feel really relaxed like you are a little bit high (glass of wine high). But I DID sleep when I wanted to! I will try again tonight and keep you other insomniacs posted!

I took it last night but my DH was having a MAJOR SNOORE FEST. Nothing short of a sledge hamer and a coma could have helped me last night. I will try it again tonight (it did seem to help me fall asleep...just could not stay that way) WIll let you know tomorrow!

Kathi,

Get the DH in for a sleep test. His snoring could be endangering his life. My DH had same problem. Now we both sleep through the night, lots less tired, too.

I think I am going to have to do that. It seems to get worse and worse! It is exhausting me! Being sleep challenged and then dealing with that is rough. I love the man to death but plot horrible things in the wee hours of the morning! Thanks for the suggestion!
