Post Op back pain

I am 10 days post op from my surgery (only my uterus removed because of fibroids). I have been having a lot of lower back pain when I sit or lie down. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this? I try to keep busy on my feet, but then I just tire myself out. Thanks for your input.

Post Op back pain

My doctor said that some mild back pain was normal as your back muscles try to carry the weight that your abdominal muscles can't right now.

If it gets too bad, I think I would call the Dr. or mention it at your next appointment.

Hope you feel better!

Post Op back pain

I'm only 2 days post op and am feeling a LOT of pain in my lower back. I'm guessing mine is from laying on my back for two days in the hospital. Hopefully, the more I move around, the more the pain will subside. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Post Op back pain

Mine was very sore yesterday which was day 1 post op. It has been much better today as I have been able to stand more and lounge in a more upright postition. Laying in bed after surgery all day and night was hard on my back.
