Let's hear it for the Squatty Potty!

I'm 3 weeks out from my robotic assisted hysterectomy. My "big and ugly" uterus had to be removed through an abdominal incision and the idea of a poo...gave me serious anxiety. I was taking Miralax but was terrified of becoming constipated. However, as day 4 was coming to an end...I felt the urge to go, but couldn't make it happen! Then I remembered the gag gift I received in a gift exchange at Christmas. I busted out my new "squatty potty" and life has changed forever. I promise you, I'm not selling them or advertising for them! It almost eliminates the need to push by properly aligning everything. I'm serious...best thing ever!!!!

If you can't find the Squatty Potty, then you can simply use a low stool, as I did. Happy pooping, and best wishes for your continued recovery!

I'm a week post op and I love my Squatty Potty! I was taking Miralax, stool softners, drinking tons of water ever since day 1 post op. I struggled to go so I asked my sister to drive me to Bed, Bath & Beyond, best $25 I've spent, plus you can use a coupon. I wouldn't say it makes you go as much as it cuts down on pushing. Best of luck

Mine came from Bed, Bath and Beyond. But I have seen them on Amazon as well!!! It looks like a step stool but it slides around the bottom of your toilet when not in use. 👍🏼

I showed a pic to my dad and he thought I was crazy, but later that evening I
had my own homemade wooden squattypotty.!!! I love it, it's a little low but still the right idea!
