Hi Tamreynolds,

I can suggest you check out these two H.S. forums on nutrition and exercise:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/for...s=&forumid=208

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/for...s=&forumid=208

Might give you some ideas and some other ladies to talk to.

Best wishes,

Help with Weight and fatigue

Hi:

I know about a year after my DS was born, I had a problem with fatigue and not being able to lose weight. I was working full time at the time and after lunch I would almost fall asleep at my desk! Finally, I called my g.p. and set an appointment. When I saw him, he said there are 5things that could be going on: 1. Lack of exercise (very true) 2. Poor diet (true again) 3. Depression (yeah) or 4. Thyroid problems. or 5. Anemia.

Well, 4 and 5 both were true for me. I've had anemia in the past with my last 2 kids and had to take iron with both of them. My thyroid was extremely out of whack. We got those things under control and then I was able to lose weight again and not be so tired. You may want your doctor to do some bloodwork and see if these affect you. Thyroid problems are often misdiagnosed and can lead to depression problems if not brought back in line.

I wish I could say everything's been ok since then. In 2001, my fibroids started and anemia set in again. My levels were extremely low before and after my LSH. I'm on iron again and hope this will be the last time!

Good luck. Maybe if you eliminate somethings or fix some of them, it'll help you get back on track.
