Big question about adeno and placenta ab.

I just ran across the fact that women with adeno may have placenta ab. I had that with my first. Does that mean my symptoms of enless pain pay be adeno? Thoughts really appreciated.

Re: Big question about adeno and placenta ab.

Given that adeno can be caused by trauma to the uterus, it is quite possible that you havw adeno.

Re: Big question about adeno and placenta ab.

Sorry I should have put I guess you could have it. Adeno can be caused by trauma to the uterus such as c-sec, abortion, weather it was planned or sontanious (miscarriage). So it makes sense that it could happen with placenta abruptis

Re: Big question about adeno and placenta ab.

I had a placental abruption with my second child. I guess I never really asked what caused it. I remember the doctor telling me that a blood clot likely formed between the uterus and placenta. As it got bigger, it caused the placenta to tear away. Could it have been from the fibroid or adeno that already existed? Maybe scar tissue from my previous c/s? I'm not sure. I was on bedrest for 23 weeks, but we made it, and my son was born by c/s at 37 weeks.

Because we're totally crazy, we decided 4 years later to try again. That pregnancy was extremely nerve-wracking and I was listed as high risk right from the beginning. Aside from a crazy thyroid, that pregnancy went pretty well.

I'm here now because of pain and bleeding due to pcos, a fibroid, probable endo and adeno that clearly showed on my u/s.

I know how scary a placental abruption can be, so feel free to ask any other questions if I didn't get to what you were getting at.

Re: Big question about adeno and placenta ab.

Let's say I wanted to send a private message to someone, can we? I don't know how that works.

I think you do that by clicking on User CP toward the top of the page. Then there's a button for sending messages on the left.
