started bleeding again

Well I am 10 days post op, and had stopped bleeding the day after abdominal hysterectomy keeping ovaries, this morning I woke to blood on my toilet paper.. It's not bright or much more than a spotting but still making me worried. has anyone else had this problem?

I did not, but my doctor warned me that it could happen around the 2 week mark or so. IF you are concerned, give your doctors office a call and run things by them.

Also, make sure you are still resting more than you are up and about, not lifting anything heavy or trying to do housework etc.

I did that at aout the same time. It seems like I read somewhere on this site to expect it. I don't remember if it is healing, stitches dissolving, something like that. I had a little spotting a day or two and haven't seen any since. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op. TAH, kept both ovaries. I have rested as instructed, not over doing.

I had spotting on and off for 5 weeks..

I was told spotting can happen during the 1st six weeks, as things heal. So far I've only spotted the 1st 3 days, but I know I'll probably have more, especially when it's time for my cycle.
