24 hours later, so much pain.
I just got home from the hospital. I am exactly 24 hours post-op (TVH) and I'm in so much pain. Any suggestions aside from the pain pills? Please help

If you're in surgical pain and the pain pills are not relieving the pain, then you need to call your doctor.

Not sure what kind of pain. My belly feels empty and it hurts...like there's too much room in there now. Idk how to explain it. My back hurts too, but I'm guessing that's from the spinal. My vag hurts obviously. None of it is gas I don't think. I've been passing gas regularly. Idk. Sorry.

It may still be some gas pain, but if you are in lots of discomfort it may help to reach out to your doctor. Does it help to get up and move around a little? I am also 24 hours out and finding that getting up and puttering about helps alleviate some of the pain I am feeling.

Your doctor expects you to call if you have questions. If you are in pain that your medication isn't helping, call your doctor. S/he may want to prescribe something else or perhaps want to see you.
