9 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy: Bloated after eating-painful pings

I'm 91/2 weeks post op and I have returned to work. I started spotting on 3rd day back at work and was told to take it slower-less walking the stairs and utilize the elevators. When I eat my stomach bloats and boy is that an uncomfortable feeling. I keep my feet reclined and a pillow close by for my stomach. Hystersisters, recovery is a slow process, but I am so ready for the new me.

You might have low stomach acid, which makes it hard for you to digest food.
I have had digestive issues for years, got worse post op.
I don't eat processed food, stay away from gluten...
I also take betaine HCL supplements before each meals, along with probiotics.
If I stick to this, I no longer bloat from food and my stomach does not hurt.

I had my surgery the same day as you. I am back at work and started back half days at week 6.
I just finished my first week of full days.
What kind of work are you doing? Is it physical?

Re: 9 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy: Bloated after eating-painful pings

Hi,
My position at a college is mostly a sedentary occupation, but I was not allowed to report to work half-time..The college's human resources department does not allow employees to report to work at a half-time status. I returned to work on May 6, 2014. I am still fatigue, but my doctor says that is normal. There are certain foods that I avoid in order to not become so bloated.
