Back Pain / Pressure on Spine 12 days post hysterectomy

I am 12 days post op laparascopy hyst with ovaries left. I have been feeling fairly well - usual fatigue, etc. However, the last few nights -particularly last night i try to go to sleep - and no matter what I tried (I am a side sleeper - I put pillow between my knees - i then gave up tried on my back with my head elevated - feel almost like something poking out my back. Very uncomforatble feeling. I did have issues with my bowels before (but things have been working not too bad) - and I do have disc detioration - but never felt this pressure before. Is this just my abdominal & back muscles healing process or should I investigate before my 5 week post op check up?

I don't remember how far in it was for me, but it was early on after my surgery, that my back hurt really bad.. I was surprised, because for a while my back hurt more than my abdominal area. It eventually passed for me. I found it helped to switch up how I had been sitting/lying.. I also found that chilling in the recliner was the best position for me during those times.. the longer I sat upright the worse my back would feel. I am currently 11 weeks post op now, and I still get some tenderness through my abdominal area after I have been working out, but the back pain passed. I hope yours passes too!
