TAH: Just left pre-op

Wishing you all the very best from a post opper 10 weeks out! I made it through and this site has been fab for support - I really hope all goes well for you tomorrow and during your recovery. Next birthday I hope you will be looking back and laughing on this

Good luck Alibabe! Had my TAH on Monday. IT was not as bad as I thought. Take the pain meds - I only needed them for three days and am now on Motrin. When they want you to get up and walk, do it. THe more you move, the more quickly you will feel better. THe pain from the surgery is nothing to what I was suffering from continually and at least I know this pain will be gone for good before I know it. Good luck again!
