10 days post hysterectomy.

Dear sisters,
I'm 10 days post op now. I felt good enough to venture out to lunch with my daughter and run a few errands. We went into a store and browsed around and I suddenly became so fatigued I had to find a chair to sit in to wait for my daughter. We ended our shopping there and headed home. I quit taking pain meds because of constipation and NSAIDs were tearing up my stomach. I'm having pain suddenly near incisions. Possibly because I wore my jeans for the first time. I won't do that again.

You are still early after major surgery. Shopping trips or adventuring out will depend on your body along with comfortable. Presently you are trying to build your stamina back up. Feeling fatigued is your body’s way of letting you know it is time to rest a little then attempt something else.

Ice packs just might help your tummy with any swelling or even to help subside any pains from your day. Though I have to say that you are a trooper for wearing your jeans however I can’t imagine that felt good. Yoga pants are quite comfy and can easily be dressed up even if you eventually wear them to work.
