Family and Friends

I am so glad I found this site for support. Seems like we understand each other. I feel like I am so a lone. Seems my family and friends and my DH just don't understand me in how much pain I am in. DH does in some degree when he sees my face then he will help me. I feel like everyone just getting tired of me and I just want to go to bed and stay there till I see doctor next Tuesday. Any of you feel like your family just don't understand why we are depressed about having surgey and the pain we are in? AM I being moody and stupid. ? Taing it to far?

I feel the same way. I was looking around at walmart tonight at tee shirt dresses. I said to him this dress might be comfortable to wear home from the hospital. He looked at me and said, you are really worried about this arent you? DA.........then he asked why i couldnt wear my (jean) shorts home. He doesnt have a clue of what i need to do to prepare for this.

I went through the same thing. I told DH I was going to go store to get some bigger size pannies and a summer housecoat, which I don't have. He says "What for"and "Just wait". I told him I needed them and the pannies were on sale. I got 7 pairs for $7.00. I do not want to wait till the last min. getting everything together. Also I am not going to buy a housecoat. I am going to wear another gown on my back to cover my back.
