surgery 2 questions

I have a question and pardon if I describe it in laymans terms.
I am having the laproscopic proceedure along with the bladder tacked up
I am also having a labioplsty (which have any of you had ?)
Do they use the gas they put into you body to help in the laproscope??(please tell me the name of this term)
I just rememeber having it done with both my tubal and gall bladder surgery .

Yes, they use the gas. I don't know the term either! :-)
