ow- is lavh supposed to hurt?

Oh my god, I feel so much better reading that I'm not the only one who STILL has vaginal pain. Does anyone also have irritation/dryness in the front labia part? Even though I kept my ovaries, I'm wondering if my estrogen levels are off. By the way, I'm also still postpartum, although did not breastfeed this time. I had a baby vaginally on Sept. 27, had the vag.hyst. on Nov. 13 and still have MAJOR pain near the vaginal entrance where they did the episiotomy. After being misdiagnosed with a fungal infection, I was finally told that the episiotomy site was "traumatized" by the surgery and they prescribed a steroid cream. That area hurts so much that I've been wearing stretch pants or skirts and have to still sit on a pillow! The whole thing is really getting old especially when you're wearing a skirt to work in the middle of winter in Chicago.
