Why so lousy today?

Had 2 week check up after TVH and removal of left ovary with tumor on 9-11-01. I have good days and bad days. Some days I feel insane and moody (my poor dh husband and children though they deserve some of it since no one will lift a finger). I am still sore very crampy and feel things pull occassionally, leg ache, back ache, not sleeping more than two hours at a time and hot flashes. Dr. says all is normal and everything looks great (she took a peek inside)and sent me on my way telling me to call her with any other concerns I hae and to make sure I make it in for my 6 week appt. Is this all normal or a dr. late for lunch (it was 12:30 when I left an hour after my appt.)

Hey there officeassistant

I think we have found that all s are different. Each has their own way of doing things.

My first post-op appointment was not until almost 3 weeks later. It was quick like yours - and it was early in the morning. Just my - I don't think it's a problem - especially since she told you to call if you had concerns.

If you have doubts - give her a call.

Blessings on you ...

** Officeassistant

You are still very early in your recovery and can expect good and bad days.

But it does seem to me that you could be over doing things - the telling comment above are "(my poor dh husband and children though they deserve some of it since no one will lift a finger). I am still sore very crampy and feel things pull occassionally".

Slow down, take it easy and make others do things for themselves. I know this is really difficult but you have to pamper the princess to make sure that you heal as well as you possibly can.
