Oh, poor you

As long as you are not in pain in the tummy area and you have no bleeding you should be OK. Try and rest and take it easy today in case you have pulled anything so that it has a chance to heal.

I know it is difficult if you are on your own but you really shouldn't be hanging out washing this early post op as it involves lifting, carrying, bending and stretching

and ask friends and family for

Sending you big

Katy

Oh sweety, how scary! Be sure to take it extra easy today. Like Katy said if you aren't having any new pains or bleeding you should be OK. If you have any new pains or bleeding though I would call doc ASAP. Best of luck to you on your recovery, be sure to take it easy.

cubanjunky get yourself in, don't be stupid like I was/am.. I hope you feel better.

I am SO glad someone has brought this up.. I fell face down on the sidewalk on my way to get the mail on the ICE last Thursday.. No bleeding( there, you know), but my hands were bruised and one had a cut, my knees were pretty banged up.. but when I say fell I mean down, like a football tackle.

Flat out direct hit to the surgery area.. I still have pain there.

No problems going to the bathroom etc. But I'm scared. I KNEW that I should have gone in to the ER that day, but I slowly picked myself up and just came inside.

It feels like I've been in a car crash and a steering wheel had hit me hard there.. you know? Before airbags.

I don't want to go back to the hospital.. EVER !!

The very idea of it , ugh.. plus , what would my Doctor do? A pelvic? I'd DIE !!!..

So just rest and a heating pad?

Seriously this is just so stupid, as I was laying on the pavement I was thinking .. now I've really done it..

I'm so stupid.. I was heading to the grass to get off of the ice as it happened.

I don't know.. I'm really stressing about it.

Thanks for letting me vent.

My goodness, hystersister...take it easy! I have seen several of your posts, we had our surgeries the same day. You are a obviously a go-getter (dancing at the co. party @12 days postop; wanting to exercise; shopping and emptying kitty box and now doing & hanging out the wash!) but right now you need to relax and take it easy! I know its hard...its making me NUTS, too. But you gotta think about the inside healing so you won't have more problems down the road, long-term.

Don't make us come over there, lol.

Concerned for you in Texas,

I hope you're feeling better, I'm debating wether I should call my doctor too, I didn't fall today but my dog hit me in the stomach with his front paws, hard enough it cut the wind out of me and made me hunch over, still hurts a few hours later, I hope he didn't cause internal damage with that hit?
