Triple Header!

Hi Sisters!
When I went for my pre-op on Tuesday, my gyn told me I "really should have those hemmorhoids taken care of." Since I was already going to be miserable I figgered "Ok, I've waited 17 years, that's long enough!" The trick was to find a surgeon who could get me in and approved before the scheduled date. Everyone jumped through hoops- gyn office, primary office, surgeon's office, ME! But wonder of wonders! We managed to pull it off! So Tuesday I get the whole 60,000 mile overhaul... Hysterectomy, Bladder tuck, and 'roid removal! Now if only someone could convince the insurance co. to include a Tummy tuck, and go for the Grand Slam!
I had an FSH level drawn to help me decide about the ovaries, but no results yet. Has anyone had this test prior to surgery? Was it useful to make the decision? I just got over my 2 week-long period and I feel as if I am already ovulating! Sheesh! I need a nap!
Slàinte!

Wow

Be sure they rotate the tires while they're at it! You will be a new woman when they get through with you!

I had a large skin tag excised from my labia at the same time as my TAH/BSO...like you I figured why not. The doctor agreed...he said "why waste all that good pain medicine?"

I knew I'd never want to go back for more surgery, so I'm really glad I did it all at once. But compared to you that was nothing!

Hope it all goes well...sounds like you have a great attitude. Be sure to let us know how it goes!!!

Karen
